I am currently a Postdoctoral Associate in Dr. Ram Datar group in the department of Pathalogy at University of Miami - Miller School of Medicine. I am a research member of University of Miami's Biomedical Nanotechnology Institute (BioNIUM) whereI do the lab-on-chip fabrications
Prior to joining UM, I was a Ph.D. candidate in Dr. Bilal El-Zahab Energy Materials Lab at Florida International University where I obtained my PhD in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Acoustics and Acoustophoresis. I received my BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Iran in 2005 and 2008, respectively.
I am the founder of PHORTEK LLC company.
